Colin's employment history is a rather interesting melange of big and small, profitable and unprofitable, well run and corrupt, companies, corporations, and partnerships.

He started in 1983 on the big side with IBM and over the years moved on to smaller and smaller companies, until 1991, when he was hired as the first full-time employee at a small Toronto software company.

One would forgive Colin for thinking that he had gone as small as he could go, but after several years working with the same people, he was compelled to go smaller still. And so it was that in March 1996, he quit his job and, together with his friend Scott Appleton, formed Galleon Software.
